Agreed Tom. I also have wp-db-backup installed on most all of my blogs. It just didn’t make the cut this time.

What a great list of plugins! Thanks for sharing this.

Being a certified security geek, I’d also like to recommend that WP users consider one called “wp-db-backup”. This one can be set up to automatically email a copy of your WP database at various intervals, depending on your needs (I choose daily backups). I then send it to my Gmail account and set up a filter to send it to the Trash folder — where it sits for 30 days, available if I need it, before it gets deleted.

A nice, neat, automatic backup system.

If you decide to do this, keep in mind that this only backs up your database, not your files (but a couple of minutes with your FTP client or in cpanel can take care of that).

Nice list Michael and some I’ve not heard of. I’ll definitely give the Fast Secure Contact form a try as, like you mentioned, I get too much spam via CF7.

Hi Michael, great succinct video filled with the real truths of succeeding online. #5 hit home the most for me because for a long time learning Internet Marketing with all the acronyms and technical stuff was like learning a foreign language. Now I know more than enough to share with others. Thanks for the reminder!

You may want to read Tiffany Dow’s blog and her posts reviewing iwriter. One writer she got there did plagiarize even though they supposedly check with copyscape. Of course, as a writer herself, she isn’t happy with the prices writers can get there.

I started out with something a little less time consuming in mind, but it kind of morphed into something quite a bit longer.

That’s one of my problems when I’m writing blog posts. I tend to get all kinds of ideas as I write, and then want to say everything at once. I need to learn to split it up into multiple posts to save time and have more days’ worth of content

Hi Michael… I’m working on a new blog so this will be good motivation to get new content posted every day for the next month.

I’ll be posting at Recharge My Life – today’s post wound up taking me an hour and a half to write, so I’m going to have to come up with some less time-consuming ones for the next few days!
